My main focus at the Corporation Commission is to protect the interests of utility ratepayers. As a professional tax analyst with an MBA in finance, I am uniquely qualified to understand the complex financial and accounting issues raised in utility rate cases. At the Commission, I have a record of always fighting for affordable rates and reliable services.

I am proud to say that since I was appointed to the Commission by Governor Doug Ducey in October 2017, I have made lowering utility rates my top priority. In response to federal tax reform, I led an effort to require utilities to reduce their rates and pass their tax savings on to ratepayers. This effort resulted in a $119 million annual reduction in rates for APS customers and more than $165 million in rate reductions at utilities across Arizona.
