About Justin Olson

Justin is a fourth generation Arizonan. Born and raised in Mesa, Justin is the father of four young children. Justin and his wife Karyn both graduated from Mesa Public Schools and currently send their children to the district’s schools.

Justin holds a bachelor’s of science from Arizona State University where he graduated with honors.

Justin brings valuable experience to this office. Justin served as a Congressional Aid for Congressman Trent Franks (R-AZ) where he advised the congressman on bills regarding the Second Amendment, real estate issues, postal reform, and other topics.

While on Capitol Hill, the conservative Heritage Foundation recognized Justin as a graduate from the Heritage Congressional Fellowship program.

Justin has been a faithful volunteer for Republican candidates and conservative ballot initiatives.

Most recently, Justin worked as a Senior Research Analyst for the Arizona Tax Research Association where Justin has been on the front-lines defending Arizonans against government intrusion and excessive taxes. At ATRA, Justin has become an expert on public finance and the state budget. Justin’s experience enables him to be an effective advocate for conservative legislation beginning on his first day as your new State Representative. Justin recently resigned his position at ATRA in order to run for the Legislature.
